Good long needles

I use them mainly for machine sewing and they are perfect. They are quite long and quite thin so they don't get in my way when I'm sewing something that needs to be pinned. The yellow tabs make them very easy to use and I can also easily find them if I drop one on the floor! They're fine, so I think I'll bend them over time/use, but I'll replace them if/when that happens. Good price, lots of pins, very happy with it!

Pros
  • Comfortable flat heads
Cons
  • I'll write later

Leaves holes in fabric - do not buy

I bought these because I needed flat head needles. I've seen good reviews on Revain and I have other very good Dritz pins. However, I noticed that they left large holes in my fabric. The shank thickness seems to be the same as my other Dritz pins, so I figured it might just be some pins or the fabric I used. Now I'm trying to use them again with a higher quality cloth and I'm getting the same problem. Unfortunately I've slightly exceeded the 30 day return policy so I'm sticking with them.

Pros
  • For securing stacks of fabric
Cons
  • Out of fashion

There used to be great pins, but not from this batch!

I was disappointed from the moment I inserted the first pin. It had such resistance, you'd think these things had been dipped in acid after they were made! I'm not exaggerating. A few years ago I bought a set of these pins and used them exclusively for my sewing and quilting projects. These were (are) the best pins I could ever wish for. I wanted to replenish my stash a bit as it has dwindled over time and a few flower heads were bent beyond repair or fell off. I confidently opened this new…

Pros
  • 2 inch flat head pins
Cons
  • Big and bulky
