Get it when you remove upholstery nails!

Good for removing potholders from chair cushions since 1975. Definitely speeded up the removal process and saved my joints. 👍🏻

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • No instructions

Good for a one time project

Bought to hold upholstery and other stuff. from an old lounge chair. This is my only furniture upholstery project so I was very happy with the price. However, the tool tends to rotate on the handle, making it difficult to maneuver. If you plan on doing more than one upholstery rip I would suggest something more professional.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Some small items

Good design poorly made

I like the overall design and utility of this product but the handle is so poorly attached to the grip that it's easy to rotate if you shake your head wiggle or twist to work under a potholder or to release. I suspect that with prolonged use the stock will soon detach from the grip. If you use a tool more than once, spend more money and get something that works well and lasts a long time.

Pros
  • Rulers
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Poorly constructed, dangerous to use. Buy a different type.

This brand/model of adhesive remover is not safe in my opinion. The first time I tried to break off an upholstery nail, the wooden handle spun in my hand as if the metal bar wasn't even connected. The force I applied caused the whole tool to move and the sharp end pierced the muslin. Instead, I could easily injure myself or ruin the upholstery fabric. It's not worth it.

Pros
  • Adhesive tapes and rulers
Cons
  • Available in white only
