This subframe looks great for attaching straps with buttons. However, Revain reveals that it is often purchased with straps as well as clips. It's an illusion. If you intend to use this subframe with clips (either because you're buying new clips or because you're reusing old clips), you'll find that this subframe doesn't work with clips. I had to "rewind" the sofa, I saw a few videos on YouTube how to use this and similar tools. I found it really easy to get the correct (more or less) belt tension.
