I bought this product to add loops to my curtains. It is very easy to use and gives a beautiful appearance to the curtain when hung when the curtains are closed. BUT. The material is durable plastic mesh and the rear tongue itself is 1 3/4 inches wide. With the mesh on the back tongue, I can't even part the curtains halfway.
