good quality: cord locks

good quality a bit hard to press but definitely not slip, fits 1/4' rubber very well. 1/2 inch is a bit tight, but works too.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • can i add something

Strong Springs: Cord Locks

I was pleased to find that these cord locks have much stronger springs than I expected, providing a very firm and secure cord grip. The button wobbles a bit in the cartridge but that doesn't seem to be a problem as the stops continue to work great.

Pros
  • Packing Height 0.501"
Cons
  • Long Delivery

Works great - clasps

These cord locks are perfect for the waistband of my shorts. I use two - one for each end of the cable. The holes are a bit small so I had to use a needle to thread and thread the waistband through the device. The cord locks are a little chunky for the waist, but they don't stand out or make me look taller, so I'm happy with that. They work great!

Pros
  • Product box width is 2.875 inches
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

worked as expected

bought these to make cord stoppers along the bottom of the jacket and along the edge of the hood. I got this very inexpensive foldable down jacket but since I was going camping in a potentially windy area I wanted to make cord locks rather than spending a few hundred on a jacket that already had it. they looked very similar to the drawstrings on my lighter jacket (which was made with drawstrings). I used instructions from ehow.com. The end result was satisfactory and cheaper than buying another

Pros
  • pack length 3.5 inches
Cons
  • crumpled
