I use them to hold my daughter's pants. She is tall and thin, and her manual skills are declining, so she cannot wear a belt. I attach them to the back strap loops and they attach them to her pants, but when she needs to go to the bathroom, she can still just take her pants off. We bought enough to keep the zippers on her pants. They wash and dry perfectly, most of the time they stay trimmed.

As I couldn't find any other clips, that's great! I just want the metal clips to be a bit decorative, ornate or elegant and come in gold too. However, as this is not the case I sewed 3 Swarovski buttons over the ribs to make the whole thing fit for my purposes and now they look great! Thank goodness they exist, otherwise I wouldn't have "fashion clips" to decorate and streamline my plus-size tops.

I bought this clip because a lot of my tops are boxy and shapeless and I wanted to give them a slightly slimmer look without the expense of a tailor shop. These little 2-way stretchy clips work really well for tightening the back of my tops and look like they are part of the top. I was also hoping this would help with back gap jeans, but if the belt loops aren't in the position I need, this really isn't the best choice for that.
