Type of review

I have no idea how puppet needles are traditionally used, but these needles are over 3 inches long, reasonably sharp, and in a good mood. I found that a little manual sharpening/buffing improved the penetration and passage of the fabric. I've used them to pull running stitches through jeans and sweatpants in both crochet yarn and cotton yarn. A must-have for any manual stapler's toolbox.

Just What I Needed

I started out hand weaving using a technique called hidden knot quilting and the instructions suggested using a doll needle at least 5 inches long. I decided to buy them because the instructor suggested this brand. . I received it today and unpacked it straight away. Using a needle threader, I was able to easily thread the pearl cotton I decided to use. The inside of the needle eye is very smooth and the thread could slide through the eye very easily, unlike normal needles with a large eye. I…

- They are a little different than what I need, but they are of good quality as I have come to expect from Dritz. Perfectly smooth, not a hint of burr anywhere, and surprisingly strong for something so long and thin! The eyes are easy enough to see and walk through, but not big enough to create gaps in the material. I *shrunk* my eyes to a smaller size with *smooth* pliers, but few will see the need. And even after I've done it, the finish remains *perfect*. I mention this on purpose because…
