These items are ideal for overlock cones so we can use them on the sewing machine now. They are made to shrink a bit to fit some cones with smaller holes. I've noticed that this article suits some people better. If that doesn't work, simply pop the bag into a heavy coffee mug (make sure the mug is empty) and pull the thread towards the machine.

Pros
  • Install the cone on the lead screw pin
Cons
  • Long delivery

exactly as described

universal single cone and spool holder allows large spools of thread to be used in home channel with height and distance to sewing machine providing good tension for machine embroidery or work with trimming rulers/free quilting movement. It was easy to assemble, cheaper than those sold in quilt stores, and served its purpose. Can be used on all makes and models of car - I have a 1986 Bernina 930 Record.

Pros
  • insert adapter into large end of cone as far as it will go
Cons
  • packaging crumpled

Will not work on my Janome machine

I purchased these to fit the Overcaster taper on my Janome machine as regular threads are not currently available under current conditions. While they fit easily in the larger cone, the cone still can't rotate on my machine. I tried it right side up and upside down. I've had several smaller cones which I've tried as well; However, these adapters were too big for them. Better use a filament stand or guide the filament in some other way.

Pros
  • Kit includes (2) Taper Thread Adapters
Cons
