Bought to mark patterns on dark blue cotton. Disappointing results as the tracks are barely visible or not visible at all. Revain has the best selection. I would not turn down this marker again.

We were looking for something to write on black business cards. It didn't work for that. I sewed a lot so it might work for quilting so it was very hard to judge. However, I thought it might be of interest to other people that this doesn't work on paper. (shrugs)

This type of marker pen was recommended by Sunbrella for marking outdoor canvas. I looked at many sewing tutorials using Sunbrella before trying the canopy. I used a pencil but I think the light beige fabric I used made it difficult to see the white soapstone. I think this will work best for those working on a dark colored canvas like navy blue, cobalt blue or maybe red. I may use it to highlight other dark outdoor waterproof canvases in the future.
