Functionality in fasteners

Without a special bartack, it was difficult but possible to attach them to three-layer denim. They look good, but mostly I prefer to sew on buttons.

Works as advertised

Works well. I can say that the convertible top is the maximum thickness of material that these fasteners can handle. Some rods were longer than others so do some research when choosing a rig and leave longer rods for stronger materials.

Also buy tuning tool

If you decide to buy these, be aware that you will need other tuning tools. I didn't look closely enough before purchasing, thought they were attached with a simple snap tool. Looks sturdy and the finish of the rig is good but I don't have a rig tool so I can't use it for my projects. Dritz is the brand I trust when deciding whether to invest.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great fix for a broken zipper!

The zipper on my wife's winter coat didn't work so I attached these pretty snaps to the front of her coat for her to close. The only issue I had was that her coat had multiple layers of fabric around the edge and I wish the stems that go through the coat that you ruffle in place were a bit longer. They worked, maybe making them longer is impractical because they wouldn't be tight enough. But that's the only little struggle I've had. When I installed everything they worked great and the black…

A little tricky to put on

My lovely winter coat had a broken zipper so I decided to buy these buttons instead of replacing the coat. Be sure to purchase the installation tool separately. They are not easy to insert. I used a combination of the included instructions (using pliers, not snaps) and the Revain video to figure it out. Thought I'd gotten over that but still misplaced 2 latches - simply because some of the components look very similar. It's really hard to get them out. And the parts you installed incorrectly…

Good shots for what I need.

Bought to "fix" a thermal lined sweatshirt that had a broken zipper. I haven't done this project as of March 24th, but I used them to attach a piece of webbing to a soft side cooler bag and they worked great to replace the rough velcro ring they came with. They snap in securely and firmly and fit my needs. I installed them using the "BTSKY 11pcs DIY Leather Craft Tool Die Punch Snap Kit Tool for Installing Rivets with Punch Hole Base and Installing Rivet Button" installed here on Revain. There…
