does the trick! Suitable for engines and engine parts

Work in progress. This solved my over smoking problem that was a problem when I first started my Yukon. I would rather buy this aftermarket than spend $140.00 on original GM gear, especially since GM engineers designed it to charge us $140 for a $6.00 PCV part that used to fit out there.

Pros
  • Valve cover
Cons
  • Unsure

Big improvement on the 5.3 Voetec engine

GM required 2 modifications to the left valve cover as the engine was installed in trucks and SUVs. In my situation, this solved the problem of smoke coming out of the exhaust when starting and changing the #1 spark plug every month and a half. The valve cover quickly pays for itself with less oil consumption and fewer spark plug changes on DOD cylinders.

Pros
  • Engine parts
Cons
  • Not everything fits

So far so good: valve caps

First of all, very easy assembly. Second, it's the same quality as the GM valve cover I replaced. It finally starts in the morning with no smoke and seems to be burning a lot less oil. 2009 Chevy Silverado 5.3 at 160K (hope for another 160K) Note the PCV pipe from the valve cover with the metal ring. The hose connection does not slip. I cut off the plastic connection and pinched the rubber piece of the hose.

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • too blunt
