Ideal for marine rescue operations.

I work for sea rescue and we pack our first responder radios in these dry bags. They also work great on the open Zodiac in the ocean.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Available in black only.

A great way to add value to a cheap auction purchase.

I didn't want to spend more than $100 on a floating VHF submersible. I bought a cheap marine radio online and loaded it in this bag. The perfect solution!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Use with caution. for water sports

I like the product, but the plastic is weak. I ended up impaling my back and drowning my radio before realizing it was full of sea water. As long as you don't put it in danger it's fine, but it's certainly not a permanent item and is easily pierced.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • No automatic

Gasket leaks, easily punctured/cracked.

I've had 2 of these picks in 5 years. They cost around $10. Both had very little seal leakage when closed. They also eventually developed holes and began licking without being abused. If a dry bag doesn't keep things dry, it's useless!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Fits Iridium 9555 satellite phone (almost)

I was looking for a water pouch for my Iridium 9555 satellite phone Aquapac had one for about $40 but Amazon didn't sell it and I saw it for $15 . Decided to give it a try. The phone fits with the antenna folded. With the antenna extended, it hardly fits. You can add an extra inch or two for a perfect fit. You can access the buttons when the case is closed and you can talk about it.

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Flawed

This was used on my firefighter radio (Motorola XTS3000) and also fits our HT-1000, MT-2000 and XTS5000. I am posting this because I was struggling to find information on what cases work with public safety radios and finally found a picture of this model with the HT-1000 so I thought I'd give it a try. For the XTS3000, you'll need a short antenna to perfectly match the height, or be prepared to bend the antenna slightly to insert. I can submerge the radio completely and it doesn't get wet. Also

Pros
  • Free for Educational Use
Cons
  • Expensive

COVID-19 Overpriced DO NOT BUY

This item normally costs $12 (check price history with a good price comparison tool). It's not clear if it's even worth $12, but its current price is around $18-$20, reflecting price gouging due to COVID-19. The item tears easily and I've had many (14+) of these disposable cases, all of which have spring holes in any number of areas on the thin, flimsy plastic. A short term repair with Aquaseal will extend the life of the product before another puncture occurs in this poor quality product. I…
