I was shocked when I took my new Double Shot hairdryer out of the box! This is MUCH more than I expected. I read the reviews but somehow missed the mileage. My hair is in the "growing out" phase as it has been cut VERY short and doesn't quite reach my chin. I was concerned that I would not be able to get under my hair or wrap it on a hair dryer. This hair dryer always gets top marks but I don't know why. It doesn't have the power to fully straighten thick hair and I kept it up the entire time. After that I needed a flat iron. I would settle for something like the Adagio.

I love this dryer! I have medium length thick wavy hair. Due to the fact that they get greasy, I wash my hair every day and it takes a long time to dry. I saw Good Housekeeping recommending this dryer during our closing time and decided to save up some money to buy it. It costs money! It saves me a lot of time drying and styling my hair. Please spend more money on this hair dryer brush! I've been using Revlon for a long time, but even at the lowest temperature, it got incredibly hot and almost burned my fine hair. The lowest temperature on the drybar is warm enough to dry my fine/fine hair but not so hot that I can't even touch my body. Buyers beware, you are likely to receive a used or returned item in an unknown condition. Instead, I went to Ulta and got a great new item.
