Saved the garage floor but needs replacing

So I used it once and ended up spilling about 2-3 liters of used motor oil on it. It really saved the garage floor where I was going to buy it, but I couldn't get all of the used motor oil out and ended up throwing it away. For the price and the fact that it saved the garage from an oil stain, I'll buy another one.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Terrible product breaks down when exposed to oil

I bought an oil collection product from one of my cars. The product failed miserably in its one job. The bottom of the mat dissolved in oil and turned into some kind of king of black goo. Pieces of it are now strewn all over the garage floor and look awful. Updated 10/27/19. The coating on the back of the mats was completely destroyed, rubber sludge was all over the garage floor. I spent 10 minutes scraping it off and then threw out both rugs. Avoid at all costs. Terrible product.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Too easy. I need something heavier. moves too much

This carpet is too light. It sways too easily in the wind. It moves with everything but a light breeze, and that's IN MY GARAGE. When the door to my garage is open, the carpet moves with the wind. My garage is protected and it's not a wind tunnel. I would never use it outside. Even with weights. If it doesn't blow away, the rain will wash it away. Such a light mat, absorbs well. Next time I'll find something heavier and more impressive, albeit more expensive. again.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

What a mess, buddy!

In a nutshell. This mat is just awful. I left it outside the day I first used it to change the oil in my car. It was a hot summer day and a long time to look at the melted damn mat! Yes, you hear me right! Not only did it melt, it was the gooey melt of an oil base. It's stuck to my cement driveway and looks a lot worse than if I smeared it with motor oil. This Mas was a disaster. Terrible product. And you want to know what's worse. I put it in my garage where like most garages it's not…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works great cleaning oil absorbers

Perfect. My wife's steering gear was leaking and I had to wait a bit to get the part (expensive!) and wait until I had time to actually install it (so tired), so I put a pan under her car. Now parking over it is a chore she can't handle lol (don't tell her I said that!). So I took this rug in hopes that it would soften the stains on my garage floor. It worked like a charm! I liked it so much I got another one for my electric smoker which I love using in my driveway (and driving the neighborhood

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have to admit I was skeptical

It's really easy to absorb liquid. Difficulty absorbing oil or liquids and keeping the rug flat without folded edges or anything that can be reused. In addition, to contain a leak or spill so that it does not enter the item used to contain or contain the leak. It meets these requirements. I use it to catch a small leak from the power steering pump in my SUV. It's not a permanent leak, and it's not a major leak, but since it's power steering fluid, it's a leak that can make the floor slippery…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unsafe
