The thing is a bit jumpy, connects to a SATA port via 2 or 3 adapters supplied, but works as intended. I was a bit disappointed that the length of the lightbar was a bit shorter than I thought it would be, but that's the intended length so I'll attribute it to user error. The magnetic strip is strong enough to hold it to the case, but I think it's only as strong as it needs to be. This is the best version of this product I could find for the price at this point.

I have verified this purchase on the supplier site and have commented on the quality of the product originally shipped to me. THIS product felt cheap and broke easily after trying to adjust the light bar in my case to improve the optics. Without requesting a return, LEDdess emailed me saying they would be replaced free of charge. The replacement version was MUCH better and worked perfectly. Thank you LEDdess for doing everything to fix the problem and in my case the product looks great.

Great, simple, economical! As many or more features and modes as more expensive and complex devices. ONE complaint/warning prevents a full 5 stars. My LED strip failed, as soon as I installed it the red LED shorted out and I only got 5 colors out of 20. I couldn't blush and it shut down my PSU twice but luckily no damage.
