My son's factory speakers were riveted to the door frame so breaking the rivets and installing the speakers had to be done by a professional which cost more than the speakers themselves.

Used it on my 11th Jeep Patriot with all 4 doors. Sounds great even without an amp. Amplifier coming soon. The tweeters sound better than I thought, the only thing is they are too big to fit.

This is my 2nd set of these tweeters. I have them on my front doors and will be fitting this new set into the factory for the 6X9 and maybe adding 4 more of the same tweeters for 2nd every 4 locations. Damn, that sounds good

So far so good I haven't used tweeter bits which do NOT come with grilles and do NOT fit the same factory holes for my peterbilt, they sound fine and survived Walmart Kicker 6.5 In case it helps

Impressed with the sound and performance at this price point, they are HEAVY for the components. Lots of custom work installing the tweeter if you don't have enough room behind the door panel. The middle is also deep. Really very happy. I dared DS 18 but am happy

For the price, this is a killer setup for mids and highs. I used a speaker pod from Custom Speaker Pods because my original factory speakers were 5 1/4 with 1 inch tweeters. They were handpicked for 6 1/2 with 3 in super tweets. Highly recommended for the money

They will NOT fit my car although Revain said they would. Were they too long? This will not allow the panel to return to the door and protrude without a huge bulge. I recommend buying from Crutchfield. I've never had a problem with them and not knowing if Revane is right or wrong can be a very costly mistake. I tried 3 times to contact the seller and got no answer. It's been 2 weeks and the money still hasn't been refunded. I'll update this when they reply.

Recently installed and they're definitely loud and efficient but be careful with the size of the tweeters. They're hardly tiny and you'll most likely need to make room for them. In terms of sound quality, the woofers work in the midrange, while the tweeters work in the 2-20kHz range, so you'll probably want to pair them with something else. especially for low frequencies (100Hz and below) - but if you look at them you probably already know that. I bought these for an odd battery powered camping/party project. to figure out the shape and size of the required hole, considering the placement of the leads and the capacitor soldered on one side.
