Nice set: computer accessories and peripherals

I mainly use it with ESP8266, etc. Silkscreen output is useful. Printing on an instruction sheet is the minimum that is possible. Difficult to read. Impossible without magnification.

Spring. This one really works as it should!

I bought this unit while trying to find a USB to serial converter that would actually reproduce 1.8V levels reliably. This one does. No stress. It's a bit sad to make a brilliant report these days just for something that works as promised but here we are. Either way, this is a good tool after you buy a few more.

Voltage shift

In my humble opinion this product offers the best value for money and works as advertised. There are many similar serial adapters, but this one can switch voltages. So if your project requires 1.8V, 3.3V and 5V interface, you can switch between different voltages with a small jumper. This is very convenient and you don't need to buy a separate adapter to work with different voltages.

My built in R7000 router

Bought this in place of a TTL cable to try and unlock my router that comes with a firmware update failed. I figured it might be more versatile in the future than the more expensive TTL cable options I was considering. Worked like a charm when first connected to the mobo router. You must download and install the driver listed in the instructions for it to work on Windows 10. Keep in mind that if you don't get anything at first, your rx/tx connections might be mixed up.

USB to TTL converter that really works

Probably the best USB to TTL adapter I've ever had. I like that you can change the tension. Unlike many cheap devices I have, this is the only one that doesn't have any weird quirks at certain transfer rates. Also, it's well supported across the four operating systems I use (Windows, MacOS, Linux, and FreeBSD). I can't remember if I installed Windows and Mac drivers but not Linux or FreeBSD. People talk about how expensive FTDI chips are. Are you really? They're definitely cheaper consideringโ€ฆ

Great handy tool. highly recommended!

Just received. Attached is a photo of the packaging. I like it. I don't find breadboard instructions critical because the board has clear markings for everything. Pretty good clear plastic case. no problems with the hardware, registered in the device manager, works without failures. Perfect . wide range of TTL levels. Note that this jumper not only determines the VCC voltage, but the TX output signal will not exceed it (also determines the TX/RX levels). I don't think there will be any problems
