Manual focus slider for macro photography.

These instructions are for macro photography on a tripod. This will move the entire camera in focus and out of focus. (2-way forward and backward movement) The rail works great, slides back and forth on its own, but put a camera on it and it then drags on the rail due to the weight of the camera. I didn't know what it would do right away. But I will use it anyway. Rotate the handle a little further and move the camera forward or backward along the guide. But it still works great for manual…

I bought this item to use in my home made stabilization camera (Youtube - Silver Flyer). My opinion on the product: It serves my purposes and I would probably give it 3.5 stars. Not to say I don't like it and it doesn't serve its purpose, just a few minor issues with what I'm using it for. What I found: The thumbscrew to tighten the plate so it doesn't move backwards and the fourth never fully tightens or loosens over time and throws the balance off balance because it moves. I'm afraid to twist

Professional quality? No, no, of course not! But you already knew that when you saw the cheap price, right? The question is will it work well for casual macro photography. Answer: Yes, it is! Actually everything is fine. There are just a few things to keep in mind: 1) It has 2 knobs - one turns the gear that moves the rail back and forth and the other locks it in place.
