Received the case today. The advantages are that the fit is tight and light. I also like the color red which I chose because it's easy to find on my messy desk. However, the downsides are that the iPad's volume buttons are NOT exposed! They are closed, making them difficult to detect and control by touch. The back cover also hides the Apple logo and the plastic looks cheap. The other annoying element for me was that the price of red was $3 more than the price of black, which I'm not sure makes…

I can only say: perfect for the iPad. No problem installing the iPad and so far the lid is working as expected. However, long-term durability is questionable. It seems that over time the lid can stretch and your iPad may fall off. I have a similar one from another manufacturer for my old iPad and it lasted a few years. I just hope it will be the same.

I recently bought a new 10.2 inch iPad and was very disappointed that Apple only sells a case for it (no iPad back protector). I looked at different models. and decided this product was the closest thing to what I was looking for. I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It's very similar to the Apple case I had for my previous generation iPad and it does a great job of protecting my new iPad. .

UPDATED: We weren't aware that we had to change a setting on the iPad to make the SLEEP function works. After we did this setup everything was fine! Previous Review It fits well, doesn't look cheap. The main disadvantage is that it does NOT put our iPad to sleep when it is closed. We are very dissatisfied with this shortcoming as it was the main reason for our choice of this model. However, we can handle it because we don't like the rear issues and we can just put the iPad to sleep manually.

This case is a bit poor. It looks and feels very cheap, which is to be expected given the price. My iPad 8th generation does not fit well in a case. The four corners are okay, but the straight sides don't grip the device at all. This pulls the side away from the iPad when you pick it up or hold it by its sides. I like this case but the sides don't fit properly. When you use the tablet and put pressure on the side like I usually hold, the case comes off. I'm always afraid that the tablet will jump out of the case and fall. I'm an adult so I only use it when I'm sitting, so it's done the job for now.
