This copier/cloner works as advertised, REALLY easy to use. Works if you build/format computers with identical hardware, especially SSDs.

Simple and easy to connect/use

Very quick to use - just plug in and gently set NVME Drivewatch to HEAT when trying to switch cards NVME - allow to cool before touching cards

Worked as advertised and was used to duplicate SSD

As advertised and no frills. Used to upgrade 256GB nvme SSD to 1TB for laptops. Works as in the description. Gets hot, so be careful when handling SSDs after duplication.

Works well but gets very hot.

Nvme to nvme (less than 30 minutes to copy 512GB to 1TB) The offline copy was very fast, but the device also got very hot. Copying M.2 to NVME took about 3 hours, 512GB in 1TB, offline copy can't be used (still very hot).

Can keep your coffee warm!

Works as expected. Well made and easy installation. Unbearably hot! I'm concerned about the longevity of my NVMe drives due to the amount of heat generated. To update. I'm giving it two more stars because I've tried the clone feature and it works as advertised. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but there are still issues with the heat generated.

Works great gets very hot

Works great. Duplicate Samsung 870 Evo Plus 2TB in 40 minutes! As many have mentioned, dubbing gets very hot. This shouldn't harm the drives as they are designed to choke if they get too hot. Just be careful with that. Don't touch it while you work, lay it out on a flat, fireproof surface, and maybe put a fan on it to bring the temperature down a bit. I am very happy with the result, great product!

Works well but gets very hot!

We have used it several times and the results have been good most of the time. In one attempt, the LEDs continued to blink after duplication continued for over an hour. We turned it off, restarted it and it worked flawlessly from the 2nd try. The device gets very hot with each use, which is why we feared leaving it unattended. But it works well and gets the job done fairly quickly. We've also used it connected to a PC to access data on the M2 and it works great. In general a good device; butโ€ฆ

Suitable for one time use but will require some serious work

Received and was amazed at how small and heavy it is. Started cloning some spare m2s right away and it was quick. By the time it was over, however, the hull had heated to the boil; I couldn't touch him without burning myself. The built-in locking mechanism is plastic encased in a metal alloy, which makes sense, but not with the amount of heat generated when duplicating a 512GB drive. After my first use, the locking mechanism no longer holds the M2 properly. Worked for one thing I needed butโ€ฆ

Works with most drives, gets very hot, doesn't work with Crucial P.2 (NVMe PCIe gen3 x4 M Key)

Doesn't seem to work with Crucial P.2 NVMe (M Key) drives. Turns on the lights on each hard drive, but pressing the clone button does nothing. Tried a few of these (including other brands of these devices available from Revain and none of them seem to work with Crucial drives). WORKS with all other M-Key (PCIe x4) drives I've tried, including Mushkin. Helix, Western Digital Blue, Samsung 970 Evo, and a few random third-party NVMe drives I had lying around. Gets hot enough to be a real fireโ€ฆ
