some inputs not working after less than a month of use which is unheard of for a Sony PS3 controller, probably either a poorly refurbished or counterfeit controller.

This PS3 controller was sold as new but received defective and probably used, which did not work at all, had to be sent back 2 times, so far have not been able to get them to tell me to send a legitimate new controller!

! This is a fake controller, when I got mine it was like the right stick was up and there was a live spider in the packaging. If you read other people's reviews you will see that they were even worse. Heed these words and do not buy this controller. Update 12/07/19: Improving my rating as I tried to use this controller with a PC and it worked fine, but the quality is a bit lower than other DualShock 3s. I would still advise against buying it; However, with a PC, you might get lucky.

Be careful who you buy from and make sure the controller has never been used as Sony didn't make these controllers durable . All three of my dualshocks failed at some point and the last one I bought new to replace didn't even last 6 months. If you're buying a replacement, you should try repairing your old one first. . Buyers beware this is definitely a third party source. I bought 2 because aftermarket controllers never feel the same. Makes a huge difference to the cheap $15 I bought before. These much better controlled targets were exactly what I wanted.
