Duck tape pulls off easily. It is very sticky on both sides and holds the carpet in place very well. I had no problems with any of this. You get 42 feet for a very reasonable price. This is a high quality carpet tape that is affordable. 5 Stars.

This SINGLE SIDE rug appears to work well with ties but time will tell if it will hold the stitching together over time. However, most of the reviews on this product seem to refer to double-sided tape, which is used for an entirely different purpose.

I like the idea of this ribbon. It's more or less double-sided, slightly sticky tape. It's easy to lift and adjust, and won't leave marks on the carpet or floor. I just used it on a brand new room sized rug tonight. The only downside that deserves 4 stars is how difficult it is to remove the yellow protective film. It's incredibly difficult. I finally got it done, but it took forever to grab a piece and start slicing off the top piece.

Glad I bought Two Rolls. I cut 12 pieces exactly 32" long, the last piece was 2" shorter than 32" when the roll ended. So (12 x 32)-2/12 = 31.83 feet. I knew I would took about 38ft. Imagine my surprise when the first roll ran out! This first cast was a complete 10ft shorter!
