It would be better if they actually stuck to the wall. As mentioned in other reviews, adhesion is poor at best. I'm not sure why they don't make them super sticky if you rely on them sticking to the wall to work. It also takes a lot of putty to fill the mesh as most of the putty will push through. It's best to do this in several lighter layers so you have something to build on.

I read reviews that said the glue was bad but I bought it anyway as I thought a joint sealer would suffice would to be glued to the wall. After the first application of the connection everything looked normal. Well the next morning I went to apply a second coat of compound and the patch failed completely. It separated from the wall at 2 corners. Now I have to remove and re-sand everything and hopefully I can use the same patch. For a few bucks more, I should have just bought a new sheet of…
