Dumonde does what he has to do.

Dumonde Tech Lite is excellent. However, you must follow the instructions carefully. Drop for a link and delete it. It takes a long time. As with any lubricant that contains oil, you will pick up some dirt. This is not a problem for racing bikes. It really settles your drive chain and does a very good job of holding your chain, cassette and sprocket.

No Dry Lubricant

Viscosity similar to Hoppes Gun Oil 9. After 200 miles of light road riding, wiping the chain and derailleur about every 20 miles, the chain is fairly dry. However, the chain is now a bit noisy, which tells me that it needs more oil. I don't know how much this adds to the durability of the chain. 1200 miles on about 1/2 chain with Dumonde Tech. Without measurement, the circuit works fine, but with low loading and very little water. I will continue with Dumonde. A 4 ounce bottle should last a…

Best chain lube

This is the best chain lube for road bikes. I've tried pretty much everything there, and then the local hipster bike shop pushed me into this thing. I didn't want to believe them because they are hipsters so they must be wrong about everything, but unfortunately they were right about that. This stuff seems to last forever, it's very easy to apply, it's very clean (perhaps even cleaner than paraffin-type lubes), and it's excellent at keeping your gears quiet. It also smells like liquorice…

It's a really good bike chain lube

Dumonde Tech Lite bike chain lube is the best product I've found for keeping bike chains steady. And the chains stay clean. After each ride, I quickly wipe the chain down with a dry rag (holding the jersey bundle from the t-shirt onto the chain while "turning back” the crank). About every 500 miles I wipe down the chain, then carefully put a drop of Tech Lite on each roller, let it "sink in" for about 10 minutes, and then wipe the chain dry. I haven't had to clean a chain on a bike in a few…

My chain gets dirty much faster

Nice line but works pretty much the same as Triflow or Boeshield. After each ride, the chain still needs to be wiped down to remove the black dirt. And yes, I completely degreased and wiped after application. No cleaner than any other lubricant. I wish it had a drip tube like the Tri-Flow. Becomes very runny/thin. Follow-up: It's now late September and I've ridden about 1400 miles on this bike with Dumonde. I'm sick of how dirty the chain gets after every ride. And NO, I didn't get much oil…

The absolute best chain lube for dry conditions

Living in Northern California, one rarely worries about rain, especially in the last four years. If you are looking for a chain lube for relatively dry conditions - dry or not - Dumonde Lite is your best bet. Period. At the risk of sounding a bit obsessive-compulsive, here's my surefire technique:[1] Clear your system thoroughly. Not only do you need to get rid of all the dirt, you also have to remove all of the previous grease. This is the SOP every time you change your lube.[2] Apply a drop…

Seems to work in all weathers

I have tried many lubes over the years and the best one I found before Dumonde was Rock N Roll Ultimate Dry and I was quite hooked on Rock N Roll. Until I tried Dumonde. Both lubes work cleanly as long as you wipe down the chain after each use, but the Dumonde seemed cleaner for longer. Also, after the first 3 treatments of Dumonde I haven't had to lube it for over 300 miles now and it still works, other lubes need topping up every other ride, Rock N Roll lasts about 150 miles. I only gave 2…
