Disappointing Skylight for Tools and Home Improvement Projects

According to my experience, this skylight is not worth the price. while it fits the standard size the quality of the material is lacking and the installation process is difficult. The only positive aspect is that it allows some natural light into the space... However, I would not recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable and sturdy skylight for their building supplies..

Pros
  • Provides natural light and ventilation
Cons
  • May require professional installation

Stunning Skylight, Letting in Natural Light All Day Long!

Through trial and error, I found that the SLS1422 skylight standard from Duoform Plastics was just the solution I needed to bring natural light into my dark living room. The skylight is easy to install and its sleek design adds a sophisticated touch to my home's aesthetic... The natural lighting is not only good for my mental health but it also saves me some energy costs. The only downside is that it can get a little too bright on sunny days..

Pros
  • Stunning design, easy to install, and brings natural light into the house, making it energy-efficient.
Cons
  • It can get very bright on sunny days.

Shades as good as a sheer curtain

This is a good skylight cover but it blocks light just as well as a sheer curtain. I thought I was going to buy a blackout and didn't realize it until I wall mounted it. I don't get the point of this single lampshade, if residential skylights were transparent like glass it might provide some privacy, but since most skylights are opaque I lose the meaning. I ended up going to Home Depot and bought a $6 temporary blackout curtain that I will attach to the inside of this curtain.

Pros
  • Fixings included
Cons
  • Long delivery time
