Bought these to replace another brand I recently installed because they gave off an "oil smell" and overheated the engine. I read so many negative reviews about other brands that I figured they couldn't get any worse, or maybe they worked as they should. I installed the Durabasics, they fitted the holes snugly, turned it on and found it was exactly what I was looking for. 0 order. So far I'm very happy with it and will order more if needed.

These replacement filters are a perfect match for my Honeywell HPA300 Air Purifier. I have admittedly not changed them since I got them about a year and a half ago; the light never came on but i thought it was about time and how good it felt to me seeing how dirty they were. I usually try to buy this kind of stuff because the manufacturers are very expensive. They fit perfectly and feel just as thick, strong and durable as the originals, but at half the price! Definitely recommend.

The product is an exact replacement for OE filters. The filter fits perfectly and is easy to assemble. The pre-filters should be tailored to your specific device. I have two HPA300 air purifiers. Honeywell filters are not for sale, otherwise I would have bought them. But so far I'm happy with them and they seem to be of equal quality. The HEPA filters appear to be identical to the original in terms of construction - same weight and pleats, same amount and location of adhesive, and same rigidity. Don't waste your money on this! They produce the smell of burnt/burning plastic. No no no don't buy them. They literally stink! So while they had a good PRICE, they are useless. I just installed them 5 minutes ago in two HPA Honeywell 300 machines, one on top and one on bottom and the house is filling with the noxious smell of oil. Considering I received them to REMOVE irritants from the air and not add irritants, I am extremely dissatisfied and have a headache as I write this! I have a couple of HPA 300 units that I use for general dust reduction. (I have IQ Air and Austin Air units with large carbon filters for the neighbor's fire extinguisher and fireplace.) These Durabasics filters weren't a perfect match, but they came pretty close. I could swear the air purifier's performance has dropped a bit, but I have no other way to measure it than to raise my hand over the unit and see where I can feel the airflow.
