Works well, but. Most portable dishwasher hose repair kits require you to file the back of the plastic tab, they are too rough. They're hard to find, perfect, and you usually have to pay more for a more precisely made kit. I personally prefer to pay less and simply file or grind the inlay.

I could not align the teeth to get the clutch through during assembly. I thought the new teeth were slightly larger than the ones I had. I ended up using 3 of the 4 old teeth and only one of the new teeth. If I wiggle the plug properly I can't practically get it to leak, but for me that was far from a satisfying result.

There is a trick. I had to file the outer part of the white teeth with a nail file (I'm a woman - it came in handy). After that everything has contracted again and fits exactly on the tap. I still don't know what the rubber bushing was for. dw didn't have one in the beginning. I would recommend. Saves the money and expense of replacing the entire hose assembly, which is exactly what the mechanic wanted to do. He's never heard of it!
