Excellent base, you should use a fixed/proprietary power cord.

It's worth noting that the other reviewers didn't, that they only work with Duracase and not the 800 series separately. But I knew that and bought it as an additional charger for our Duracase iPod/800s. They work great and snap securely onto the magnetic base every time. The only issue we had was that because they use a micro USB connector the staff tend to unplug it and use the cable to charge their phones and the plug/disconnect loop (combined with their Attempting to connect it upside down)…
