Good news and bad

Good news. batteries work. They are brand new in packaging as pictured. Also, they were MUCH cheaper than Radio Shack or Rite-Aid. The bad news. They are dated March 2014 which means they are REALLY old. Typically such batteries have to be released at least 3 years later, for example in July 2017. UPDATE. The company will offer a refund or send newer batteries. You can't get better customer service. + and quality marks.

Fresh goods, neat packaging.

In my experience, Duracell batteries have the highest capacity and longest shelf life and NONE of the quality control issues that I have experienced with the Energizer and Ray-o-Vac brands. Both batteries are tested at full voltage and will be "fresh" when the desk clock next needs to be replaced. ), to loose battery containers that are not in their original packaging and are worn out, to batteries with a short remaining shelf life. These N type batteries are the reason to keep buying themโ€ฆ

How long have they been on the shelf? Lasted a few days with very little use

Got them less than a month ago when I ordered 2032s. I decided to get some Ns for the Eotech 511 which I had but wasn't using. I finally added N a few days ago when I came across the box that contained Eotech and everything was fine. I tried it with different brightness levels and then put it away. The next day I tried it a little with Calico ARD here and there and left it. I picked it up last night and it didn't last. I thought it could be connected to the battery in the battery compartmentโ€ฆ
