🔋 Duracell 76A Alkaline Battery (4-Pack) Review

This size is extremely hard to find locally so I'm glad to find it here - Bonus 2 "spare parts" for later use. Batteries work exactly as I've come to expect from Duracell - great! Can't comment on durability as I only put it in a toy. The package expires in March 2026 so I'm sure the spares will be used before they expire. Meanwhile, the kettle starts playing its tunes again and I'm called to the (Roar!) Dinosaur Tea Party!

If it had been four stars I would have given it 3 stars but I downgraded it to an extra star because I was obviously annoyed with one of the four batteries. 100 percent DEAD. I thought at first I just put the same "expired" battery back in, but NO. I checked all the batteries (including the dead ones I replaced) and in fact I had 3 good ones only 2 bad ones. Disappointing but not worth the effort to return.

Revain is notorious for posting the wrong photos. I assumed that was the case with this product as it says in several places throughout the description and on my invoice that they are silver oxide batteries. You are not. They stuck a stupid fake label on the back and came up with the part number "76S" which said it was "new". Duracell doesn't have a 76S. I expect more from Revain. They return tomorrow. I would rate this 0 stars but they have at least 1 star.
