Product Failure in Hub Assemblies

pleased with the price, fitted wheel hub and bearing, and a few days before Christmas the wheel bearing failed and I was back at the start.

Pros
  • Includes new wheel hub, wheel bearing, wheel studs, circlip and axle nut.
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...

Good product! Professional automotive technician.

Great quality at an even lower price. The hub alone costs $60 in Napa. Same bearing as a cheap Autozone Duralast, but in my experience it lasts about as long as a Timcon bearing.

Pros
  • Forged wheel hub: for a long service life
Cons
  • Only available in white

Bad bearing failure in less than 1000 miles

The bearing began to fail in less than 1000 miles and had to be replaced. Externally looked good, although new. When pushed out of the hub, it fell apart with obvious scratches on the inside of the case. Don't buy if you don't want to do the same repair before your next oil change. (You can see the damage on the inside of the bearing in the picture.)

Pros
  • Sealed bearing: provides protection from contamination and helps maintain lubrication
Cons
  • Scarce manual
