🧹 Replacement Dusting Brush Set (2 Pack) Review

I'd rather give a positive rating, but this product needs some tweaking before that happens. As soon as the cleaner is switched on, the long bristles in the center are completely sucked in, allowing very little dirt or sand to get through, leaving dog hair or grass to completely clog the hole. The price is great. I hope I can trim the inner bristles to allow the attachment to do what it was designed to do.

I bought this set of two dusting brushes to replace a worn one and use them with a new vacuum which didn't come with the product. They work well, but the bristles on the inside tend to curve inward and block airflow. I just turned on the vacuum and used scissors to trim the bent bristles until the remaining bristles were straight. Then they were fine. But for the price paid I didn't expect perfection just to be reasonable and they live up to that expectation.

This is exactly what I was looking for. This vacuum brush has replaced my old worn out brush. It works amazing and looks very durable. I think it will really stand up to many years of vacuuming. This is a great brush when you need a spare. I was also concerned that it wouldn't stick to the outside of the hose. No problem. You push it and it stays on. There is also no air intake. It is dense and durable, and the fibers perfectly collect dust. This is a very good brush replacement.

These brushes have a small amount of horsehair bristles. As a result, they are sucked into the central hole of the collection tube, which hinders the operation of the brush. And I've been using it for a long time! Everything seems crazy. Brushes are made the same way these days. All to reduce production costs and increase profits! If you used to buy a vacuum cleaner, brushes and other gadgets lasted the lifetime of a car! No longer! And interchangeable tools leave me unattended!

This dusting brush is just as good, easy to care for, and durable as the brush that came with my $400 Kenmore vacuum. I find that both the original dusting brush and this replacement need to be removed from the hose and vacuumed from time to time as I work, but that is typical of this style of brush. Bought a second one for my daughter and she is very happy with it. They do shed a few hairs but I don't see that as a problem as most natural bristle brushes do. The hole in the center is too small so when I turn on the vacuum it closes completely. It was a better price than others and perhaps also reflects the fact that they are smaller than most brushes. We use dusting brushes every week and every day on design jobs like sanding wood for shelves and projects (which is common). Over the years I've bought all kinds of dust cleaners from both Revain and the big department stores. Some of them were rough and prickly, others soft and delicate. I bought this for my Shark handheld vacuum. The one that came with the vacuum was broken. yes it is broken The end that fits the stick just broke off the brush. Please note that the design is for attachments that fit into the vacuum hose opening and also attaches to the vacuum stand for storage when not in use. (I know an odd design, Shark folks.)
