I've had a few issues with this unit. The concept is simple and in my case I bought a refrigeration unit from JC Refrigeration that contained another of these which made the purchase almost pointless. In fact, this device is two small computer fans on a 3D printed tray, connected together with standard fasteners and adhesive clips. However, there seems to be no problems with the new device. The box looked like it had been stepped on and one of the four alligator clips (used to attach the unit to the fins) was broken. I recommend strengthening the packaging. Overall it seems well made - the wiring is solid. Since there were 3 other clips that could be used, I installed the device in my RV fridge. The fans are pretty quiet. I installed this fan on my Dometic fridge in about 1 hour and it took some time. I decided not to follow the instructions and connect the fridge to my 12VDC interior light. This indeed took the most time to install as I wanted to make sure I set it to 12V DC which turned out to be the red wire on my RV fridge. The product is incredibly easy to install. If possible, unplug the connectors and make the correct wiring. I have this because in my fridge the cooling fins are halfway up the bottom of the fridge. I have a freezer in my fridge. Items placed on the top shelf of the door will not cool down. I made the mistake of putting oil in it and it sloshed when I tried to lift it.
