Does what it's supposed to do, but one important element is missing.

Includes only rubber washer, plastic nut and cap screw. You really need two plastic nuts to attach this thing to the panel. So I'll have to make a trip to the hardware store to finish my project.

Unreliable connection under Cables and Accessories

I bought this to use the USB connection for a new Android Auto stereo I installed in my old car. Although he worked for a while, he often fell behind. I eventually found that if I applied enough lateral force to the male cable through the female pass-through connector, the connection would remain stable. I wrapped with a rubber band to add enough pressure to hold the contacts together. Today I removed and threw away that passage. Not sure yet if I'll try again or just dangle the stereo cableโ€ฆ
