Works best in Manometer

There are many hospital construction projects and we need manometers to monitor our negative air content. We had a bunch of Extech meters, but we were getting readings that didn't make sense. Got these Dwyer units and they work fantastic. Since we only want readings around 0.02 inches of water, a very low range of these readings is ideal. Buy more of these sensors as they become available.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

Poor quality control

I have a 3 Series 475 Mark III. Two of them broke right out of the box. Both of these problems stemmed from the buttons not being properly aligned with the main switches. It's not like they were damaged in transit - they were broken. If they work, they're fine - simple but good. It's hard to find anyone other than Dwyer making a digital pressure gauge designed to work with combustible gases. Dwyer needs to give his Quality Control department a kick in the butt.

Pros
  • Check, measure and check
Cons
  • Something else

Low quality. The outer panel seemed to have glue on it.

Poor quality. The outer lining appeared to be smeared with glue around the label (which I could live with). The biggest problem is that the zero button didn't work. When activated, it read a value (as expected with normal drift), but that value was significantly far from zero, and the zero button didn't seem to do anything. Finally returned it. PS - I still have one of these, 12 years old, that still works well, so I chose this brand when I needed a different pressure range. should have…
