You won't believe the difference in heat. Increases cellar temperature from 63 to 70 in about an hour on level 3 only. It was never "cozy" in the winter, but it's great now. Increases humidity by about 5 points. I cannot recommend this item enough. Spend money. Get the Brasscraft universal gas fitting and check valve pictured above for easy installation in 1/2 hour. Also no smoke or strange smells.

I purchased this DynaGlow Blue Flame Gas Heater to replace an old direct exhaust wall mounted stove in our family home. Install area is about 700 square feet, and the 30,000 BTU model performs much better than the Williams oven it replaced. I purchased this Dyna-Glo heater for a 300 sq ft heater. Feet that have no furnace vent for heating. Replaced the electric heater with this device. This gas appliance is cheaper to use than an electric appliance and heats up the room very quickly, so it doesn't stay on for long. We bought this to replace another DynaGlo heater that is 20 years old. We bought another model first, not knowing that it didn't have a thermostat and we would have to turn it on and off manually. We traded for this model which has thermostatic control. Very happy with it so far. We have a small 2 bedroom house and find that this one keeps warm at a lower temperature than our old one (we set this to 2 compared to our old 3 it still doesn't heat up enough).
