🚗 Dynomax Ultra Flo 17220 Performance Exhaust Muffler Review

Loved this muffler, welded it on at a local shop, it sounded fine for a week then it got really bad, I thought the muffler was hitting a pipe or something like that, after much inspection I found that it was the muffler itself that cracked the entire top right at the welds! waste of money and time. Definitely not recommended

I have used these mufflers on other vehicles and have always been satisfied. Installed on GMC Envoy Denali. I wanted more growl in the truck without too much rumble. I tuned in for a little moment as a welder and left the factory resonator. Been using it for a month or so and it sounds good. Windows open, it's not loud and doesn't hum. Windows down, you can really hear it. In general, the sound is very satisfied.

It has a great sound, not very low but you don't sound like you're in a drag race, just a nice low rumble. I bought my Durango and it had glass bags on it and @ 63 years old I don't want to go back to high school but I still have some of that kid in me and that muffle works great. They won't draw attention like Glass Packs, but you'll still feel the power of your setup.

I did not receive what is advertised, I received a muffler but not the straight pipe muffler as in the picture , which I need, so I do. No modifications are required, one outlet is in the middle and one on the side so it doesn't match the exhaust, and the muffler I have says there's a total other low end brand is, definitely not a dyno WTF, I thought it only happened on eBay, I think it still happens on Revain.

I replaced a Chinese fake Flowmaster 40 series on my 2020 Ram with this Dynomax Ultra Flo. I'm much happier with the sound and performance. The Chloemaster was too loud. With its through-hole design, the Dynomax still gave a performance boost, but the extra glass in the muffler reduced the ride significantly. After removing the bulky OEM beast from my RAM 1500, I replaced it with one of these. The original muffler was rusted through and had several holes, so it was quite noisy. I put it on and what's the difference. My friend said she didn't notice when I pulled up and the neighbors smiled as I drove by. It still has a nice throaty sound but is a lot less loud. People at the driveway windows can even hear what I'm saying without asking me to repeat it a few times or telling me to turn that thing off
