Terrible Exhaust Band Clamp: Don't Waste Your Money!

As an automotive DIY-er, I was disappointed with this exhaust clamp. Through trial and error, I found that the hardware was flimsy and difficult to tighten properly. While it initially appeared to fit perfectly, it eventually loosened and caused my exhaust to rattle.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor hardware, difficult to tighten properly.

If you need a clamp that gets the job done then this is the clamp for you

These clamps are designed for very heavy duty applications. I used them and really turned the bolt. He really clamps those two pipes together. If a regular U-clamp isn't preventing exhaust from leaking out of two connected pipes, this clamp will do the job. it was for me U clamps are cheaper junk compared to these clamps. Very well made clamp.

Pros
  • Excellent 360 degree retention and sealing
Cons
  • Nothing

Not for 2006 Mustang V6

Even Revain says if it will fit my Mustang no it needs a 2.5" clamp. Still everything with the material, the delivery was good so I give 4 starts.

Pros
  • Exhaust and emissions
Cons
  • Not reliable
