Item fits but seller is mistakenly selling it as a Dyson OEM part. They also incorrectly use a Dyson part in their product image. This is a cheap plastic, the bristles of the brush are thin, short and too soft. There is no Dyson logo on the product.

I don't know if this is a genuine Dyson product. I want to say no because the brush doesn't stay in place when I use it. It keeps falling off exposing the plastic which then scratches which I need the softness of the brush for.

Looks and fits like the original. However, the bristles are not as hard and dense. This allows the hard surface of the tool to touch the surface to be vacuumed. The tool's original bristles held the hard surface of the tool against the surface to be vacuumed. EU

You get what you pay for. I was looking for a replacement brush for my Dyson cylinder vacuum cleaner and ordered this gen version in the hope that everything will be fine. But that's not the case. The brush slides up and down and does not fully engage. The bristles are coarse and made out of cheap plastic. If you need a replacement, pay extra for the original Dyson.
