🌀 Dyson Turbine with Tangle-Free Design Review

Will not work with V7 without adapter. The adapter you need isn't included (which absolutely sucks compared to the cost). You can still get it to work, but you'll be holding the nozzle on the vacuum with your hands while using it. I noticed a few things. This is not an electric drive. Runs on suction, not batteries. I was interested in the red circle you see in the pictures. I thought it was an air valve.

Purchased with the intention of using this to remove pet hair from furniture. The suction just wasn't enough to make a difference, and if you press even lightly, the weight on the brush head will stop the brush from rotating, rendering it completely useless. It may be enough for lightly vacuuming flat floors, but it just isn't great for upholstery. I love my Dyson products but this one was disappointing.

The thing is amazing. I have a dog that, while not "hairy," constantly sheds his short coat. Since we have hard floors, the furniture is the most time consuming part of the vacuum cleaning ritual. Compared to the DC 26 Dyson head, this one is very efficient. I was ready to throw out the whole vacuum and choose a different brand, but decided to give this nozzle a try. My partner cleaned the carpet in our house but decided to keep the stairs for now because of the cost of replacing them. This means that the ONLY carpet in our house is the stairs, so it picks up all the litter from the floor from all over the house. And we have four cats. UPDATE: The tangle-free turbine proves to be not that messy if you have a really long-haired, heavy-haired dog. The turbines are cloaked in large clumps of dog hair, and tons of dust and hair collect in that odd little gap at the edge of the tool, blocking the curve.
