Dyson DC17 Animal Replacement Brushroll Roller - Model #10-3404-08 Review

I don't think this is an OEM replacement, no part number anywhere, can barely push the vacuum with a new brush, get the old brush working again, great

I needed to replace the brush on my DC17 and found it here at the best price. Installation was easy as I didn't have to change the belt. Now my Dyson is back and as good as ever.

Item exactly as described and easy to assemble. My mother turned on her vacuum and was amazed at how well it cleaned the carpet and said you could see the difference. She was glad to have her Dyson working on this new part again!

Replacement part arrived in just a few days and was easy to install. It's essentially a whisk, so the suction doesn't change. This will make the vacuum cleaner louder if possible! but it works fine and we're back in business!

Dyson no longer makes this part so I was about to throw away a good vacuum. The part fits perfectly and after two uses my vacuum cleaner works much better. I read the reviews and many said it won't be long, but for now everything seems fine. I am happy with my purchase.

I bought the ice rink on the market and it was so loud I returned it. This OEM part was perfect and brought my DC17 back to life. I believe these rollers need to be replaced every 2-3 years. The brushes wear out over time and the vacuum actually starts to stick to the floor, making it difficult to push.

The product turned out to be an original Dyson part or at least fully equivalent - arrived quickly. All of the original features of the DC 17 have been restored and it was amazing to see the difference this video has made. The vacuum again rolled lightly over the surface of the carpet instead of being sucked into it and the cleaning was amazing. It was suspected that the old brush roller was not working as it should, but once the new one was installed it was surprising how much more pet hair…

My DC17 was making a terrible rattling noise when using the brushroll. Even after I installed a new brush roll and belt, the noise returned. I did some research and thought the noise might be caused by a bad reel motor. I've also read that some aftermarket and even OEM brushrolls can be disabled. Thought I'd give this brushroll, which is said to be made by Dyson, one last try. The seller (not Revain) said the previous one I tried was OEM.
