Dyson Handheld Cleaner Bracket Docking Review

Looks like the Dyson is on cheap ground. This wall mount came with two other Dyson PDAs that I have previously purchased. It didn't come with the DC58 so I had to buy it to install the DC58. So I was ready to install this mount, but of course Dyson didn't provide any screws or anchors, meaning a trip to Ace Hardware.

This product was sold with the Dyson V7 and listed as 'commonly sold with'. It turns out that the DC58 DC59 wall mount is only suitable for the V6 and earlier models. I've tried in vain to get it to work, but V7 doesn't fit in the slot. I went online, found its specification and found that the V7 or V8 models are not in the manufacturer's supported list.

Works great. Little did I know that the charging cable fits in and the Dyson fits in the mount and can charge. The stand didn't come with instructions so I figured I'd have to figure out how to make it myself and then I saw the holes and cable channels and realized it was designed to plug the Dyson right in. It would be nice to include instructions for this, but I figured it out. The top two things are for attachments. Another thing I discovered.

I bought this with a Dyson - Dyson V6 Upright Car Boat Vacuum - Cordless. It's exactly what you would expect and works very well. I would give it 5 stars but for some inexplicable reason it didn't come with any mounting screws. Considering the price and the fact that it's made by Dyson, you'd expect everything you need to use it to be included. Another unexpected trip to the hardware store. Thank you Dyson! I hope the pennies you saved by skipping a few screws (and maybe a Molly) did you good!

I bought a DC61 Animal that didn't come with a wall mount. Went to the Dyson website to try and order but nothing was listed for this model. After comparing the DC61 to the well-known DC59, it became clear that they had identical cases, so I ordered these. Delivery a day earlier than planned. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the bracket image is upside down. I installed mine upside down and the accessories down. Holding the Dyson with the tip of the nozzle down, simply insert the bottom back of the cleaner into the slot, then slide the tank forward until it's flush with the wall. secure. I think my Dyson came with one of these but my husband threw the box away so I'll never know. on Revain and holds six attachments, making it the perfect combo for storing all my DC59 stuff.
