No documentation, constant beep when computer is in sleep mode, sound on one channel only

While I can get it to work as the primary KVM with a MacBook, there are some serious issues. First, the Switch emits its most shrill beep only when the two computers are switching, but also when the Athena computer's display signal is turned off to save power, and it does so at repetitive and random intervals (30-90 seconds), when the displays flicker. to switch on and off. So if your device is asleep and notifications wake it up briefly to show it (e.g. when you get new email), it will beepโ€ฆ

Does not always work with external components

The switch was OK up to now. I hooked up all the components needed to make the switch work and found that it doesn't always work. Sometimes it freezes on one of the devices and won't switch to the next device no matter how many times you press the switch. I've made sure both devices are powered on and sending a signal to the device. The only thing I've found to get it working is to press the next device button. If it doesn't toggle, I unplug the device and plug it back in. It usually restartsโ€ฆ

This product is not recommended

switch only works for 2 "switches" between your sources. After that, it won't switch without powering off and reconnecting. If I want to plug and unplug devices when I want to switch sources, I just wouldn't buy a KVM switch and do it manually. Overall I wouldn't recommend this product as it ends up not doing what it's supposed to do unless you unplug the power from the KVM switch to make it work (a process that takes at least a minute).

Background - I have an HP EliteBook laptop with docking station, a desktop computer, a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse with a Logitech Unified Receiver, and an LG ultrawide monitor.
