Outperforms traditional rods in almost every way

They work better on mild steel than traditional rods and are great on stainless steel as long as you keep the amperage in the 6011 range. If they were cheaper I would never buy a 6013 or 7018 again.

I think mine were wet.

I have read that wet stainless steel electrodes do not work properly. Mine didn't work properly. It's difficult to strike an arc. Could not sustain an arc on any current. Whatever metal was deposited looked lumpy and chipped easily. I was hoping a few days in the oven might dry them out a bit. looser.

These electrodes are FIRST CLASS!

I had the opportunity to test these electrodes last night. At +45 amps DC I had no problem starting and maintaining the arc. Just out of curiosity I had a dirty piece of SS and no problems at all. When working with SS you should only use the special SS brush! It is necessary! The price of these electrodes is unbeatable. This is the cheapest way to weld SS. hands down Best product on the market for the price! I WILL BUY AGAIN
