Buying nice, well-fitting, high-quality caps from Amazon happens to be random. I love this hat. Looks good and appears to be well made. Most importantly, it fits the way I like the hat to fit. It's not too high (like a trucker hat) and not too low (sits right on the head). The beak is about the right length with a slight curve. I want all my hats to be the same. Very satisfied.

Here's what I found: 1) the hat is more than big enough; 2) The design is sleek, ie not overbearing; and 3) The material (100% aged cotton vs cheap plastic/polyester) and workmanship is excellent. Final Verdict: This is an exceptionally attractive ("salty"), affordable, hard-to-find classic cap that you'll be happy to wear just about anywhere. A very nice reminder of my time at sea.
