This is not a carpet. The size is good and big but it looks like some kind of thin carpet not carpet. Don't let the texture in the picture fool you like me.

Bought this mat to put in front of a boat before people sit on it. Works like a charm and helps remind people to take off their shoes before boarding!

Not quite a carpet, more like a piece of thin fabric. The item was very crumpled and still standing up on my doorstep. Although it was quite cheap. I'm not sure I'll be buying another one from this company but I like the one I have.

The mat is larger than I expected but I think it gets the message across! Check dimensions. I use it for my gym/laundry room to remind the guest that no shoes are allowed in this room. I would only use it indoors and I don't think it will last long in wet boots because it's very soft.

I bought this to let people know I don't allow shoes in my house. It worked well enough but started to roll very quickly. It's also fairly slick, so the texture you see is part of the pattern throughout the rug and doesn't lend itself well to wiping your feet. I think I used it for several months before getting rid of it. I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Unfortunately in real life it didn't look at all like I expected. The picture is the same but I expected some durability from it. It was like a thin, crumpled, cloth-like material, and despite my best efforts, I was never able to fully smooth it out. It's been my first move since owning it (about 2 weeks) just to tell guests to take their shoes off, but I already have a better quality new coconut mat on the way to replace and I'll throw them around

I bought this rug at the last minute so I would have 'something' to catch the dirt on our front door (and remind the family to take their shoes off). My first impression upon taking it out of the box was SHOCK at the "screened" image quality. It just looks really bad. Although I liked the size. But this rug will NOT last. It's already crumbling and falling apart and I can't sweep it out because the dirt sticks to the carpet fibers that come out (see photo).

Bought this rug to put right on the doorstep. While I haven't used it yet, it looks great and is big enough to catch my attention, so I think it should definitely serve its purpose as a reminder when you enter the house to take off your shoes. I will buy another rug to put in front of the entrance, it is stronger. I hope the carpet doesn't go away like other reviewers have complained. If so, I'll post an update.
