It's not reliable

This is the second one I have. THEY GO NO FURTHER. Don't waste your money on this product as others have said you might hear it but can't broadcast it as it can be a matter of life and death as a law enforcement officer.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • Some errors

Clear sound and very comfortable

I use this product with Motorola APX7000. Works great, sound is clear. I started with nine built-in earbuds and upgraded to one earbud. I prefer custom ones. Gives great sound and doesn't take up much space with the top vest I'm wearing.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Some problems

Disappointed: Accessory

I loved it while it worked the 2 weeks I had. But on my last shift, the mic stopped working in the middle of a transmission to the control room, and the quick-disconnect connector broke when I disconnected it from the radio. At almost $100, I expected more reliability, especially for law enforcement. While it worked, the sound and comfort were good.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Secret

After three months there were problems. Dear waste!

I have been using this headphone/connection for three months and now it keeps disconnecting causing the sound from my headphone to my radio causing a major security issue. I have checked my connection many times but nothing can fix the problem. This was a big disappointment for the price! Back to my larger Motorola headphone/jack that worked for two years.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Long wait

Portable Audio & Video Microphone Failed

I really liked this product but after using it for about 3 months the push to talk mic stopped working. When I pressed the talk button, it showed me that I was tapping a button, but nothing happened. I even confirmed this was the problem after hooking it up to another mate's radio of the same model. Very disappointed, I think I'll just have to buy another one and hope it doesn't fail again.

  • Done
Cons
  • I am writing back

Tactical Headset/Mic

I've had several of these over the years that my department has switched radios. It's good, not great, but does the job. The headphone clip is not very strong and slips off when pressed. I also don't care about the duplicate cords coming out of the mic, which should come out of your shirt. Otherwise it has held up well for several months and the quick release has worked well and is holding up.

Pros
  • Still Satisfied
Cons
  • Factor Set

Works perfectly. I use about 6 layers.

Works great. I've been using it for about 6 shifts now. The sound is clear and loud, as it should be. No complaints from others about the lavalier mic. It also has a transmit button on the radio, which is handy if you hold your hand next to the radio, you can press a button and talk without reaching for your lapel. Earphones take some getting used to in a few offsets. The first few layers it bothered my ear after a few hours. Now I don't even notice it anymore. The quality seems to be good. I…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
