Near Perfect (Near)

Don't expect it to be perfect for $15. This device is really neat and great. The only catch is that the backlight doesn't fully work (or in my case, doesn't work at all). You roll the dice to get a working backlit model. But for $15, it has a good trackpad, working keyboard, laser pointer, and a handy auto-sleep feature. I think it's good enough for the price. I've read on here that they're quite fragile units, but mine seems solid. Plastic does not bend and even has a textured surface. The…

This little device is very convenient for my HTPC

This little device is very convenient for my HTPC. I bought the first version shortly after it came out and used it for over a year until the battery died and held a charge. I was very happy with the first model, but it had some oddities. For example, the mouse pad didn't work very well and the keyboard was generally unresponsive. It always required line of sight to work. However, it worked and was much more comfortable than a full keyboard and mouse. This new model is significantly lighter…

I will mainly be using this device to set up and program my Raspberry Pi as a video streaming device. The keyboard/touchpad work well and appear to be of decent quality, but the manual leaves a lot to be desired. Whoever wrote this missed about 80% of what a new owner needs to know. Every buyer who has technical problems is almost completely in the dark as to how the device is to be operated and what it can do. What does a blinking LED mean versus a solid one, the charging LED has two different

For the price, it couldn't be better, but it can be disappointing.

I mainly use this with my Raspberry Pi 2 with OpenELEC and I've been using it for about 4 months now. This little thing can be annoying, but for its price it works decently enough. The trackpad is bullshit, but at least it works; it just looks weird and doesn't respond very well (horrible on OpenELEC, slightly better on Windows). Some button placements bother me. They could easily be placed elsewhere for more efficiency. This keyboard is not backlit, so finding the right key in the dark is very

Works pretty well with Raspberry Pi 2 B+ and Windows 8.1

This is a great remote control to use on a desktop or living room computer, true plug and play with no hassles. The USB receiver is even held in the keyboard itself, so it shouldn't get lost. Backlighting is adequate and key feel is pretty good for what I'm guessing is a membrane switch. I have a small problem with this device. First, the trackpad isn't very good for mouse control. I've found that there are occasional issues with the tracking, but it's by no means broken, just frustrating at…
