Disappointing Sound Quality in Earbuds

Using this product, our team found that the sound quality was subpar - muddled and lacking in definition. However, they are waterproof and durable. Unfortunately, these earbuds don't have the high-quality sound that you would expect from a pair of headphones in this price range.

Pros
  • Waterproof design allows for use in various weather conditions and activities
Cons
  • Magnetic design may cause earbuds to stick together, making them difficult to separate

Great little FPGA to use in a laptop

I was looking for a portable FPGA development kit and found this one. Great little laptop FPGA, but I also have one in a PCIe adapter on my desktop. I used it to develop hardware accelerated algorithms. I was able to speak to the creator about this and he was very helpful in pointing out where my design needed improvement. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Some competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Best Low Cost PCIe FPGA Solution

PicoEVB is the cheapest PCIe FPGA solution I could find. It was really easy to get it working on Linux, harder on Windows due to overly reliable Windows driver signing, but I got it working fairly quickly. All the necessary initial code and product information is on Github, so getting started was quick and easy. The only downside of this device is that it needs an M.2 A/E dongle as it requires USB for FTDI interface and most modern laptops only have one such port which is usually occupied by…

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • Expensive
