I'm a woman with medium-sized feet and these shoe bags aren't big enough for some of my shoes. They fit in a pair of flats or flip flops, but if I want to pack sneakers or a pair of heels I have to use a bag or any shoe. Maybe that's what they mean? I figured a pair would fit in a bag. I washed them, but washed them in the cold and air dried them (I had to, they smelled like chemicals). I can't imagine them wrinkling from washing in the cold.

Overall the product was great and does the job. I take care of my shoes and try to take care of them as much as possible. The pockets are thick, look pretty premium for the price, and are strong enough to hold my classic basketball shoes. The reason for the 4 stars is the terrible faux leather/industrial smell. I washed the bags in the washing machine with scented balls and scented detergent, but the smell didn't go away.

The bags themselves are great. I bought them to put a shoe in each bag. They're big enough for two shoes and I'm a men's 11W. They seem well constructed, made of fabric so they don't itch, which is exactly what I wanted, but maybe too wide for a shoe. I bought these travel bags for my upcoming vacation trip. While they seemed expensive compared to other options I considered, I'm very happy with my purchase. The 100% cotton storage bags are soft, well constructed and oversized at approximately 8 inches wide and 17 inches long.
